Tatiana and Denis - Aerial Artists

Tatiana and Denis are amazing aerial circus performers with more than 15 years experience touring throughout Europe. Some of their highlight performances include: being a part of Britain’s Got Talent, performing on the Paul O’Grady show as well as on a Take That tour and in the Zurich based Conelli circus Extreme.

Akeim

Akeim Toussaint - Beatbox and Dance

Since graduating from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance with a first-class honours Bachelor Degree in Performing Arts, Akeim has been involved in multiple cross disciplinary programmes with a wide range of artists and communities form around the world. The aesthetic of his work combines expressive skills such as: dance, creative writing, film, poetry beat-box, singing and acting. Fused to create performances that tell stories capable of bridging the gaps between a variety of audiences.

Edward Hilsum - Illusionist

Edward Hilsum is The Magic Circle Triple Crown Champion: the only magician to have won all three of the world’s most prestigious magic society’s competitions. He’s acknowledged by his peers as one of the brightest of the current crop of emerging magic entertainers, praised by the likes of Derren Brown and Dynamo for his engaging personality and mind-boggling performances.

Nancy Trotter Landry

Nancy Trotter Landry trained at the Ecole Internationale de Theatre Jacques Lecoq in Paris. She began her career as a singer, dancer and ring mistress in the highly acclaimed Giffords Circus and for eleven years has worked in film, theatre and of course, circus. Nell Gifford, the late co-founder of Giffords Circus said this about Nancy in her article ‘An appreciation of Nancy Trotter Landry; ‘Nancy is an old-fashioned stage trouper, able and willing to deliver her magic and glamour for show after show, singing, dancing and making people laugh with her absurd comic personas.

Ambitions

Ambitions Dance Group

Established in 2006, Ambitions are based in Stroud & Gloucester and runs classes in Street Dance, Contemporary, Acro & Drama for children and adults from the age of 3. Throughout the years they have been in involved in many events all over the UK and abroad. Some of these include, Disneyland Paris Dance Competitions, American Summer Camps, Hungarian performance exchanges, opportunities to compete at the Blackpool Tower and many many more.

Drew Colby - Hand Shadow Artist

Award winning international hand shadow performer Drew Colby has toured to five continents. His television work includes "Not Going Out" (BBC), "8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown" (C4), "Game of Talents" (ITV) and "Trust" (BBC). Awards include the 2018 Phoenix Arts Club cabaret award (West End, London) and the audience choice award for Best Show at the 2019 Moving Parts Festival.

Duo Odyssey

A twist of fate brought Maks & Sophia together and combining their personal expertise, passion and artistry, Duo Odyssey was born. Originating from Ukraine with many professional acredits in Latin/Ballroom, Artistic Directing and Choreography, Maks inspired Sophia to begin her career with Aerial Acrobacy. Once a young girl, representing her county in competitive gymnastics, to professional dancer and finally, to headlining artist at sea with the love of her life. Maks & Sophia's relationship and career flourished simultaneously which led to many years of success. They are extactic to join us for 'Festival of Wonder' and are honoured to be part of such an incredible production. "

The Voice Of Wonder

David Benjamin Blower is a musician, theologian and poet, excavating new folklore for the global village, touring lounges and hosting conversations. His prolific music output includes The Book of Jonah: a theological spaghetti western, with collaboration from NT Wright; We Really Existed and We Really Did This: a folk odyssey of climate grief; and Apocalyptic Lockdown Blues: songs for the strange present.

David will also be singing during Sounds of Folk & Taize at 9pm on Saturday

Chole Smith - Spoken Word

Chloe has been writing for many years and was first published in primary school. After putting down her pen for some time she wrote as her own therapy through her teenage years. Her world changed when she discovered spoken word in her early twenties and found her feet writing in response to issues she feels strongly about. She prides herself in collaborating with key charities in her local area of Kingston using her art as a platform to advocate for the cause of the underdog.

The Magnificent Mr Kai

Kai is a keen manipulator of objects, specialising in circus sticks but dabbling in stilt walking, juggling, diabolo, hat tricks, plate spinning, balloon modelling, contact juggling and, well, you get the idea! He loves to train, perform and teach anyone willing to learn. Kai will be entertaining the crowds between shows.

Alyn Shipton and Friends' New Orleans Jazz Band

Led by the award-winning author, musician and broadcaster, The Alyn Shipton Jazz Quartet is made up of musicians who have all spent time in New Orleans learning from the founding fathers of the music. Since 2019, the band has been exploring the question ‘Does New Orleans jazz belong in church?’.
