Volunteer
From stewarding, to ticket sales, serving in the café or cleaning up after our guests have left, there are dozens of opportunities to volunteer at this year’s Festival. It’s a great way to give back to your community and you’ll be a really important part of the Festival experience for everyone attending.

Stewarding:
Be on the inside! Look after our guests, make sure they can see the show, know where to go to to the toilet or get their coffee and how to move around safely in the space.
Welcome Team
Get ready to say Hello! hundreds of times as you are the first members of the team to greet our guests as they arrive at the festival site. You’ll be greeting, handing out programmes and keeping an eye on numbers as the crowds pour in.
Set up and Take down
Can you carry almost anything, love going up and down ladders and know how to Tetris everything into the back of a van? Then the set up and take down team are looking for you!
You’ll need to be available in the week before or after the festival as well as during the main weekend.
Café Crew
Know your carrot cake from your croissant and your coffee from your cold brew then the cafe is the place for you. Help prepare drinks and snacks for guests as well as serving the queue and taking payments / donations and of course helping tidy up afterwards.
Toddlers / Children / Craft
Are you more suited to the company of little ones and their families? IF you have experience working with our youngest guests and can provide an adequate DBS check we’d love to have you in our toddler team!
Or if primary school is more your thing our face painting and craft tables would love to hear from you.
The Thin Veil
Help people encounter the deeper wonder at this year’s Festival. If the cave space feels like where you should be, Judy and her team would be pleased to discuss whether the cave is right for you.
Something else?
We’ll be adding more roles as we get closer to the Festival but in the meantime if you were on a team last year that you loved and it’s missing or have something else in mind just drop us a message and our volunteer coordinator Anne will get back to you.
