Andy Bewley – Writer and show director of Magnificat! We are delighted to again show case Andy’s outstanding talent and creative genius in the creation of Magnificat!, this year’s circus spectacular. Andy is Associate Director of Giffords Circus.
Evoke Gymnastics – performing in Magnificat! our circus spectacular. Be inspired by the athleticism, energy and performance of this acrobatic and acro dance group, trained by World Acrobatic Champion Nikita Sukhanov and British & Commonwealth Games Champion Rebecca Sukhanov, who both performed with Cirque du Soleil for over 10 years. Members of this outstanding group have gone on to become British Champions in 2022 and 2023 as well as representing Great Britain in the European Championships earlier this year.
Folk On – performing as part of the Gala Evening. A must see if you enjoy folk music with a good dose of silliness, fiddles and fun. As a comedy folk band, Folk On write and play songs of unity and belonging, of solving conflicts and unyielding love – with the occasional tune about hopeless love lives, dead horses or Morris dancers. Folk On’s sound is honest and pure, with tight rural harmonies and melodies as sweet at the village fete jam. Their tales of rural life always bring a smile to the face, a laugh-filled tear to the eye and a desire to join in. Gordon Marquez – Juggler and circus artist – performing in Magnificat! our circus spectacular. Probably Europe’s greatest juggler, Gordon was last seen in Gloucestershire in Giffords Circus 2022.
Milly Sinclair – Angel of the West – Performing as part of the the Saturday programme and at Sunday morning’s ‘Wonder & Adoration’. The importance of story has long been understood. Milly will co-lead the Angel of the West performance; a compelling and intense storytelling and drumming experience demonstrating how this powerful medium can communicate to and captivate people of all ages.

Out of the Ashes – performing Sunday evening in The Finale! Concert. With their down to earth fusion of blues and pop sound, Out of the Ashes offers an engaging storytelling and entertaining performance. School Of Larks
Circus Skills Workshop -performing as part of the Sunday programme. We are delighted to offer this outstanding workshop specifically for young people and adults aged 8 – 25, interested in experiencing a range of circus and aerial performance skills. This highly discounted Sunday afternoon workshop led by School of Larks will teach you to do things that you wouldn’t believe were possible. No experience is necessary! Joining in our theme of circus spectacular, the School of Larks offers training in circus skills and aerial performance. In just one 2.5 hour session, you will achieve something spectacular and perform in your very own 20 minute show for Festival Guests (don’t forget to invite your friends and family along!) . Svetlana Gonchavenko – performing in Magnificat! our circus spectacular and on Sunday morning at ‘Wonder & Adoration’. Flying in from Cyprus just for the Festival, one of the world’s greatest sand artists will captivate, wow and inspire.
Stephanie will be performing in a lead role in Magnificat!, our circus spectacular and on Sunday morning at ‘Wonder & Adoration’. Stephanie is a London-born mezzo-soprano. She came to international attention when in 2018 Marc Minkowski awarded her a special recital in his Concours Bordeaux Médoc Lyrique, the following year joining the Royal Opera House Jette Parker Young Artist Programme.
Highlights and beyond include Anna 1 in Weill’s Seven Deadly Sins at Teatro Colon, Buenos Aires, Handel’s Messiah with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, debuts at the Bayerische Staatsoper Munich, English National Opera and Deutsche Oper Berlin as well as two role debuts with Garsington Opera.
Tatiana Ozhiganova – Creative director leading the creative design of Magnificat! From performance, to set design to costumes, Tatiana’s amazing skills and vast circus experience are again put into practise to help create this year’s circus spectacular, Magnificat!
